What is your turnaround time?

As a small business, we’re deadline-focused and client needs are paramount. Turnaround time is often dictated by your deadline and we make every effort to accommodate that by delivering quality design in a timely manner. Specific to wedding invitations, we recommend sending 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding date. We require at least 2 months (from the date you wish to send) to design, revise, print and process wedding orders. In some instances, orders outside of this time frame may incur rush charges.

What are your printing methods?

Quotes for custom print work are provided with offset (flat) printing unless otherwise specified. Letterpress and thermography quotes available upon request.

What form(s) of payment do you accept?

Currently, payment is accepted in the form of check or paypal. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin design and the balance is due upon project completion.

Is there a consultation fee?

Consultations are complimentary and always encouraged before working together. Face-to-face consultations are recommended in the greater Chicago area but if you’re not local, we’d love to discuss your needs via phone or email.

What is your rate for freelance graphic design projects?

Freelance graphic design pricing is based on an hourly or project rate determined by the scope of your specifications. For rates, please contact us directly. We are often flexible based on your needs and budget.

What is your price range for invitations and announcements?

Since Ink Umbrella focuses on custom invitations and design, prices vary considerably depending on level of detail and amount of custom work. We offer รก la carte options for assembly and production that will be outlined in the quote and consultation process.

Do you offer calligraphy services?

Yes! Along with a variety of other envelope addressing and place card options.
